Psyllium husk is derived from the Plantago Ovata, which is commonly found in India, and it boasts an extremely high fibre content. Due to this, psyllium husk has lots of digestional and gastrointestinal health benefits. 
 
Psyllium husk is able to combat contrasting issues in dogs, with both constipation, and diarrhea. It does this through water absorption in the intestines, which can either help to firm up stool, or help to loosen stool, depending on whatever problems your dog may be experiencing. The high fibre content also helps support good digestion, making this supplement an ideal candidate, should your dog have any other digestional troubles.
 
As psyllium husk absorbs water, it is imperative that your dog is properly hydrated, and that they have constant access to clean drinking water. Because of this, we recommend mixing psyllium husk with water before adding it to your dog's food.

1 teaspoon per 10Kg of your dog's body weight
